This 20-watt radio is very good, but the only downside is the gooseneck antenna that comes with this radio is pretty bad. I would suggest getting an aftermarket antenna for this radio. Overall, this radio works better than both my KG-805G and the Retevis HA1G which are both 5-watt radios and i am able to hit the repeater 15 miles away in a rural area. and we made it about a few miles from radio to radio.
What program is needed to program this Radio?
Ordered this radio from Amazon before I knew this could be ordered directly. It is cheaper here so I would definitely buy here next time. Now the radio. Has great output about 17 W. Good SWR with the right antenna. I have talked as far as 56 miles with it and got good report. Buy one before they sell out. Looking forward to the next time I can afford to buy one of their radios I will post and review it here also. Have a great day.🤓 73’s
